Short Movies Session Festival

The Vagabonde Short Movies Session Festival presents short films with artistic dimensions on the themes of surfing and oceans.

A jury composed of professionals and amateurs of cinema and photography, surfers, or even journalists will give their vote to choose the best realization. The public is also giving a vote !

The Vagabonde Short Movies Session Festival helps to promote original works to the public through this short films competition.

23 artists and more than 150 artworks. American painter Erik Abel, the French Rémi Bertoche, the Spanish Andoni Galdeano. 30 partners. Charles X in concert for VagaSound at the Garage Moderne. Donation to the Bordeaux non profit Surf Insertion.

THE WAVE: an artistic installation over 3 meters height, denouncing the plastic pollution of the oceans. 20 featured artists including Australian photographer Debbie Morris, American photographer Jonathan Nimerfroh, the California Ecuadorian painter Wolfgang Bloch. A conference-debate on the theme: “Surf Culture, model of society? “. More than 30 partners including Patagonia. Les Vivres de l’Art hosts the evening VagaSound concerts. The “Surf Camp” is an associative village. Culture S donates to the Bordeaux non profit See Surf.

22 artists including the American star painter Jay Alders, emblematic posters of pop artist John Van Hamersveld, works by the late François Lartigau. Exhibition of surfboards. Conference-debate “Women surfers are exceptional! “. Short Movies Session festival is enjoying a growing success. The Surf Camp welcomes several writers including Alain Gardinier. Alriq is the venue for the VagaSound conerts, which attracts more than 900 people.
